ogrenizer — job tracking for small service businesses
Effective: August 1, 2026Last updated: August 1, 2026
ogrenizer is job-tracking software for small service businesses. It follows a job from the first call to the final thank-you: quotes, scheduling, invoices, payments, and the text messages that carry them.
This policy explains what information ogrenizer collects, how it's used, and what choices people have. It is operated by Sean Mann ("ogrenizer", "we", "us"). Contact us at smann465@gmail.com or 234 Henry St. Hobart IN 46342.
Two kinds of people in this policy
Read the part that applies to you.
- Businesses — the service companies who hold an ogrenizer account and use it to run their work.
- Clients — the customers of those businesses. If a business quoted you, scheduled you, or invoiced you through ogrenizer, your details are in their account because they put them there.
For client information, the business is the owner of that data and decides what happens to it. We hold and process it on their behalf, and act on their instructions. If you're a client and want your information corrected or deleted, ask the business you hired — they can do it directly, and we'll help them if they ask.
Text messaging (SMS)
ogrenizer sends text messages on behalf of the business you hired, from a number we operate. A message about your window cleaning comes through us, but it comes from that business.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages described below. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering those messages through our messaging provider. We do not use mobile numbers to build advertising audiences, and businesses using ogrenizer cannot see or message anyone outside their own client list.
What gets sent. Service messages about work you requested: a quote and a link to review or accept it, appointment confirmations, an invoice or payment link, and a receipt or thank-you when the job is done. These are transactional messages tied to a specific job. ogrenizer does not send marketing or promotional texts, and provides no bulk or broadcast messaging feature.
Message frequency varies and depends on your job. A typical job involves fewer than 10 messages from first quote to final receipt. Messages stop when the job is complete.
Message and data rates may apply. We don't charge for messages, but your mobile carrier may. Check your plan if you're unsure.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You'll get one confirmation and no further messages unless you reply START. Opting out doesn't cancel your service — the business will reach you by phone or email instead.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact the business directly.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What we collect
From businesses, to run their account: the account holder's name and email address, a password (stored only as a bcrypt hash — we can't read it), the business's own name, contact email, service types, working hours, and pricing defaults. If a business connects PayPal, we store its PayPal client ID and an encrypted secret so we can create payment orders on its behalf.
From businesses, about their clients: name, business name, phone number, email address, service address, an optional photo, and private notes the business writes. Plus the job record itself — quotes and line items, scheduled dates, quote acceptance or decline, invoices, payment amounts and methods, and job history.
From clients directly: if you open a link a business sent you, we record your acceptance or decline of a quote, and — if you pay online — the payment confirmation PayPal returns to us. Card and PayPal account details go straight to PayPal; we never see or store card numbers.
We do not buy contact lists. We do not track people across other websites, and ogrenizer runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
To operate the software: preparing and sending quotes, scheduling work, sending invoices, processing payments, delivering the text messages and emails above, and keeping the job history that is the business's own record. We use account information to authenticate people and keep accounts secure.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use client data to market anything to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that make the software work, and only what each one needs:
| Provider | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Twilio | A client's mobile number and the message text | Delivering text messages |
| PayPal | Payment amount and an order reference | Processing online payments |
| Address text typed into the address field | Address lookup and autocomplete | |
| Our email provider | Recipient address and message content | Sending email |
These providers may use that information only to provide their service to us. As stated above, mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared for marketing purposes with anyone.
Each business's data is kept separate. One business cannot see another's clients, jobs, or numbers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If ogrenizer is ever sold or merged, account data may transfer with it; we'll give notice before that happens.
Support access
Staff can access an account when needed to fix a problem or when a business asks for help. This access is protected by a separate login and a code emailed to the administrator, and it's limited to people who need it.
Security and where data lives
Account records are stored with restricted file permissions, passwords are hashed with bcrypt, payment secrets are encrypted at rest, and share links use long random tokens rather than guessable ids. Sessions are signed cookies.
No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
How long we keep it
We keep a business's data for as long as its account is open. Businesses control their own client and job records and can delete them at any time; archived clients stay until deleted because the jobs that name them are the business's own history. When an account closes, we delete or anonymize its data except what we must keep for tax, accounting, or legal reasons.
Your choices
- Stop texts — reply STOP, as above.
- Clients: to see, correct, or delete your information, contact the business you hired. They can act on it immediately.
- Businesses: you can export your clients and jobs to CSV at any time, edit or delete records directly, or ask us to close your account and remove your data.
Children
ogrenizer is business software for property services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
